Situated in the beautiful Vale of Taunton Deane, the club's grounds offer excellent grass playing conditions on fields that benefit from the mild climate of England's southwest. The club serves a loyal membership drawn from across Somerset, Devon, and Dorset, providing regular chukka polo throughout the summer season alongside a modest tournament calendar of medium and low-goal competitions. Taunton Vale has a strong tradition of welcoming players of all levels — from complete beginners taking their first lessons to experienced players dropping in during the summer season. Its friendly clubhouse atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding Somerset countryside make it a distinctive and much-loved venue. Horse hire is available throughout the season, and the club maintains good stabling facilities for members with their own horses.
