Biography

Alejandro Mazzini is one of South America's most accomplished polo professionals from outside Argentina, earning a 7-goal handicap rating that places him among Colombia's highest-ever ranked players. Born in Bogotá, Mazzini grew up riding in the Colombian highlands and discovered polo through the Bogotá Polo Club, where he developed a powerful and technically refined style that would later distinguish him on the international circuit. He established himself on the North American circuit during winter seasons in Wellington, Florida, where he competed regularly at the International Polo Club Palm Beach alongside some of the sport's elite players. His tactical intelligence and ability to read the game from the number three position made him a sought-after professional for patron-led teams seeking a composed and reliable back.
