Max Charlton is Sweden's highest-rated active polo player and the central figure in Scandinavian polo's competitive development. Rated at 5 goals — an exceptional achievement for a player from a country where polo has only relatively recently gained institutional footing — Charlton has competed extensively on the European circuit, playing in England, France, Germany, and Switzerland during summer seasons.
