About the Tournament

The US Open Polo Championship is the most prestigious polo tournament in North America and one of the great open championships in world polo. Held each April at the International Polo Club Palm Beach in Wellington, Florida as the finale of the American high-goal season, the US Open is contested at 22-goal and draws the world's top teams and Argentine professionals competing for the oldest and most coveted title in American polo. The tournament has been played since 1904, making it one of the oldest continuously running sporting championships in the United States.
