Curitiba Polo Club

Curitiba Polo Club is the premier polo venue of southern Brazil, serving the polo community of Paraná state and the broader southern region that represents one of Brazil's most economically dynamic areas. Located in or around Curitiba — one of Brazil's most innovative and livable cities — the club operates in a southern climate that provides conditions well-suited to polo, with temperatures more moderate than the tropical north and the kind of green, pastoral landscape that supports quality polo ground maintenance. The club serves a membership base drawn from Paraná's agricultural and business community — an area with strong European immigration heritage, particularly from German, Italian, and Ukrainian families, whose equestrian traditions have contributed to the region's polo culture. The club's fields and facilities provide the infrastructure for both competitive and recreational polo across the main southern Brazilian season. As the anchor of Paraná's polo circuit, Curitiba Polo Club plays an important role in the geographic reach of Brazilian polo — demonstrating that the sport is genuinely national in its distribution, extending beyond the São Paulo metropolis into the southern states that are an increasingly important part of the Brazilian polo landscape.
