Club de Polo de Chile

Club de Polo de Chile is the flagship institution of Chilean polo, closely associated with the Asociación de Polo de Chile (APCh) and located in the Santiago metropolitan area. Chile has a distinguished polo tradition dating to the late 19th century, rooted in the country's deep equestrian culture and the hacienda lifestyle of the Central Valley. The club serves as the headquarters of competitive Chilean polo, hosting the Chilean Open and other APCh-sanctioned tournaments that draw Argentine and international professionals to compete alongside Chile's best domestic players. Santiago's climate allows for a broad playing season from September through April, and the club's grounds in the agricultural hinterlands south of the capital offer excellent natural turf conditions. Members benefit from good stabling, a traditional clubhouse, and access to polo instruction from qualified APCh coaches. The club plays a central role in fielding Chile's national polo team for FIP competitions.
