Port Harcourt Polo Club
Nigeria
Port Harcourt Polo Club is the premier polo institution in Nigeria's oil capital, reflecting the wealth and ambition of Rivers State — the heart of Nigeria's petroleum industry. Located in Port Harcourt, one of Nigeria's most commercially dynamic cities, the club serves a membership drawn from the oil industry, business, and the professional elite of the Niger Delta region. The club's tournament calendar includes fixtures that draw patrons and players from Lagos, Abuja, and across southern Nigeria, making it an important node in the national polo circuit. Its grounds provide maintained playing surfaces suited to the humid tropical climate of the Niger Delta, and the club's well-appointed facilities reflect the prosperity of the region it serves. Port Harcourt Polo Club embodies the social and sporting traditions of Nigerian polo in a city that drives the economic engine of Africa's largest economy.
