Doha Polo Club

Doha Polo Club is Qatar's foremost polo institution, closely connected to the Al Shahania Stud — one of the Arabian Peninsula's most distinguished breeding operations — and operating under the umbrella of the Qatar Polo Association. The club hosts a winter polo season aligned with Qatar's dry season, attracting international patron teams and professionals from Argentina, Europe, and across the Gulf during the months when Doha's climate provides ideal conditions for equestrian sport. Qatar's investment in equestrian infrastructure — driven by the country's broader sporting ambitions and its tradition of excellence in horse breeding — has made Doha Polo Club one of the Gulf's most well-resourced polo venues, with premium hospitality facilities that reflect the standards of the Qatari sporting experience. The club has hosted FIP-sanctioned tournament events and maintains the international relationships that position Qatar within the global polo community.
