Affiliated with the Svenska Ryttarförbundet (Swedish Equestrian Federation), the club operates a summer season running from June through August — the period of Sweden's long northern summer days — during which it hosts domestic tournaments, visiting international teams, and the full programme of chukkas and instruction that characterises an active European polo club. Stockholm Polo Club has been instrumental in developing Swedish polo's competitive framework, hosting national championship events and providing the environment in which Sweden's highest-rated players have developed their game.
