Biography
Ignacio Torrealba is Chile's highest-rated polo player and the defining figure of Chilean polo's rise to continental prominence. Carrying a 7-goal handicap with the Chilean Polo Association (APCh), Torrealba has been champion of the Chilean Open on multiple occasions and is the leader of Chile's efforts in the South American polo circuit. Competing regularly in Argentina, Brazil, and Uruguay as well as in the Andes region tournament circuit, Torrealba has given Chilean polo international credibility. His commanding presence in the saddle, combined with an exceptional string of polo ponies, makes him one of the most complete players produced by South America's emerging polo nations.
