Khun Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was one of Southeast Asia's most significant sporting patrons, a Thai billionaire whose passion for polo led to the establishment of one of the finest polo facilities in Asia and whose broader sporting legacy — most notably as the owner of Leicester City Football Club during their miraculous 2015-16 Premier League title season — brought unprecedented international attention to Thai sporting ambitions.
