Nicolás "Nico" Pieres stands as one of the Pieres polo family to reach 10-goal — the sport's highest handicap rating — completing one of polo's most remarkable family achievements. Alongside his brother Pablo Pieres and cousin Facundo Pieres, all of whom have achieved 10-goal ratings, Nico represents the full flowering of the Pieres dynasty founded by his uncle Gonzalo Pieres Sr. in the 1970s and 1980s. Nico's ball-striking is regarded by peers and coaches as among the cleanest and most technically pure of his generation.
