Biography

His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qassimi, Ruler of Sharjah and Member of the Supreme Council of the UAE, is one of the Arabian Gulf's most prominent polo patrons and players, having devoted significant personal resources and political capital to developing polo infrastructure across the UAE and the wider Gulf region. A rated 4-goal player, Sultan Al Qassimi brings genuine competitive credibility to the patron polo world — unusual among ruling-class patrons who often participate recreationally. He has competed across the UAE polo circuit, including events at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club and Abu Dhabi Polo Club, and has hosted international teams at the Sharjah Equestrian & Racing Club's polo facilities.
