- St. Moritz Snow Polo World Cup
About the Tournament
The St. Moritz Snow Polo World Cup is one of the most famous sporting events in the world, staged each January on the frozen surface of Lake St. Moritz in the Swiss Engadin valley since 1985. The combination of polo at altitude, Alpine scenery, and the glamour of St. Moritz's winter social season makes this the most photographed and internationally recognised polo event outside of the Argentine Open. Teams compete on a rink carved from lake ice, watched by thousands of spectators on the surrounding snow banks in an atmosphere that blends elite sport with one of Europe's greatest luxury winter experiences.
